Thadeus F. Mkamwa is Lecturer, PhD Director, and Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at St. Augustine University of Tanzania. He is a lecturer of Human Resource Management, Theory Building in the Social Sciences and Research Methods. He received his Ph.D. from Dublin City University Business School. His research interests include high performance work systems, employee reactions to HRM practices, and organisational and employee performance outcomes. He was the 2008 Ph.D. Student Best Paper Award Winner of Irish Academy of Management at the 11th Annual Irish Academy of Management (IAM) Conference, and was a winner (Highly Commended Award) for the ODRA 2010 – Emerald/ EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development). Thadeus is a co-author of a number of academic papers including the New Models of High Performance Work Systems – a research project funded by the National Center for Partnership and Performance (NCPP) and the Equality Authority.
Within AgriDiet, Thadeus is leading the St Augustine’s meso-level research under Work Package 4, as well as advisory inputs into the country reviews (WP2), methodology (WP3), pro-nutrition agricultural interventions (WP6) and the stakeholder platforms (WP7).
